St. Nicholas Day with the German Speaking Club

December 7 All day

On December 6, a few weeks before Christmas, some European countries celebrate St. Nicholas Day. St. Nicholas is the patron saint of merchants, sailors, students, and, of course, children. Usually, he asks how a person’s year went, if the person was kind and hardworking, what good deeds he did. Nicholas always gives presents for good deeds.

The participants will learn German and Austrian celebrating traditions of this holiday, recall the outgoing year, and will please Nicholas and each other with nice surprises!

And don’t forget to polish your shoes : )))
